If you’re using scoped weapons in Critical Ops and want more control over your aim and shooting mechanics, the Scope on Hold feature may be exactly what you’re looking for. Here’s how it works and how to adjust related settings:

Enabling Hold-to-Scope

  1. Open the game and go to the Main Menu.
  2. Navigate to Settings > Controls > Advanced.
  3. Activate the Aim Joystick by switching it ON.

When this is enabled:

  • Scoped weapons (e.g., snipers or scoped ARs) will scope in while you hold the fire button.
  • Releasing the button will unscope.

Optional Settings

You can further customize your experience with these additional settings:

  • Release to Shoot: Turn this ON if you prefer the weapon to fire when you release the button instead of when you press it.
  • Crosshair Movement While Scoping:
  • If you don’t want the scope button to move your crosshair, set the sensitivity under Sniper Joystick and/or Assault Rifle Joystick to 0%.

Note About Scope-Off Button

When using Release to Shoot, the scope-off button is removed by design. If you're experiencing issues related to this, it's likely due to this setting being active.
