Custom Games in Critical Ops

Custom Games allow you to set up private matches with your own rules, maps, and invited players. Whether you want to practice with friends, host a tournament, or just play casually, Custom Games give you full control over the match setup.

How to Create a Custom Game

  1. Tap on Play from the main menu.
  2. Go to the Custom Games tab.
  3. Select Host.
  4. Choose your map, game mode, and settings (e.g., password, time limit, score limit).
  5. Share the room code or invite friends directly.

Available Modes in Custom Games

You can choose from a wide variety of modes in Custom Games, including:

  • Defuse – Classic bomb-planting and defusal gameplay between two teams.
  • Team Deathmatch – Teams compete to get most kills before the timer runs out.
  • Gun Game – Progress through a series of weapons with each kill.
  • Elimination – No respawns; the last team standing wins the round.
  • Rush – The bomb is already planted at the start of the round, making for faster-paced gameplay.
  • Defend – 5v5 defuse with increased HP, health regeneration, and unique weapons and utility.
  • Manhunt – 1v7 mode; the Killer has more health and a melee weapon and tries to convert players. The Coalition must survive.
  • Manhunt Z – A variation of Manhunt with a zombie theme.
  • Tournament Mode – A stricter competitive setting used for structured play and events.
  • Practice Mode – Play with or against bots to sharpen your skills.
  • Training Grounds – Solo environment for testing aim, movement, and mechanics.
  • Wingman – 2v2 mode focused on tighter maps and shorter rounds.

Invite-Only

Custom Games are invite-only or accessible via room code. You won’t encounter random players unless you share the code publicly.

Whether you're warming up, organizing a scrim, or testing strategies with friends, Custom Games is the perfect way to take control of your match experience.
